Extrema Ratio Frame Rock Titan Black
The Extreme Ratio Frame Rock is a new knife, based on the Ti-Rock project, a successful frame-lock knife made by Extrema Ratio at the request of a well-known Italian distributor. The Extreme Ratio Frame Rock is characterized by the titanium handle that offers great strength while being very light. The integrity of the frame-lock lock system is guaranteed against wear by an insert of tempered steel easily replaceable. Unlike its predecessor drop-point, the Rock frame has 75 mm long spearpoint blade, 6.00m thick, equipped with fuller for further lightening. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, heat treated at a hardness of 58 HRC. The same is available with black finish with DLC or satin treatment. To make the opening even smoother and uncertain, the blade rotates on ball bearings. This mechanism allows the user to adjust the force necessary to obtain the unlocking of the blade from the closing position. The shape of the reversible clip allows a hidden port in the pocket, making the knife not visible from the outside. The large and solid handle and the well-proportioned blade allow this knife to deal with heavy tasks. The Frame Rock weighs just 190g, making it quite light for such a robust knife. It is supplied inside an ABS box.
